• Contributor, consultant, translator and fact checker for The New Yorker magazine, New York City (2009-2012)
• Served as writer and reporter for the Serbian Service of Voice of America (Washington, D.C.), a multimedia international broadcasting service that airs more than 1,000 hours of programming every week to a worldwide audience of more than 115 million (2007).
• Worked as copy and multimedia editor, reporter, and marketing director for American Observer (observer.american.edu), online news magazine of American University graduate journalism students, covering Washington, AU campus, the nation, and the world (2006-07).
• Wrote and edited articles, and delivered live broadcasts for Niška Televizija and Narodne Novine, key opposition media organs during the rule of the Milosevic regime. Contacted firms’ representatives to promote station’s and daily’s market shares and administered signing of marketing contracts (1998).
• Prepared and edited reports, and conducted live radio and television broadcasts for Banker Radio and Television Niš (1995 – 1996).

• Provide regular Serbian language instruction to U.S. diplomats and military attaches for ICA, and to Executive Assistant of the U.S. Representative’s Office of Hemofarm, a Serbian pharmaceutical firm.
• Taught Serbian to hundreds of American diplomats in the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade. Organized and conducted cultural tours of Belgrade and Niš. Conducted special group seminar in Serbian language and culture.
• Conducted Serbian-English interpreter services for World Learning Inc. in support of judicial reform seminar for delegation from Kosovo.
• Conducted Serbian/English interpreter services for the Department of Justice’s U.S. Marshals Service in support of witness protection training for Serbian police.
• Interpreted televised panel event of visiting Montenegrin politicians at Carnegie Endowment of International Peace, Washington D.C.
• Given regular Serbo-Croatian language instruction at Berlitz Language Center, New York City and Washington D.C. Tested NYPD officers’ knowledge of Croatian.
